Our Approach to delivering a customer focused service plan is to adopt the following steps.

Getting to know our clients

Dialogue is the key word. To offer effective advice and guidance, RMP need a clear picture of specific risk exposures including:

  • Claims History
  • Loss control activities
  • Financial environment
  • Organisational functions and activities
 

2.

Pre loss control

Prevention is one of the most effective ways to reduce the cost of risk. The cost of reducing risk through the development of a loss control programme can often be minimised by improving resource management.

 

3.

Post loss control

 

Claims management can help to restrict the cost of risk even after a loss. Claims management is more than handling a claim. Our approach will:

  • Assess all consequences as well as the financial implications
  • Aim to minimise cost while ensuring fairness
  • Help to protect clients' integrity and social responsibility
  • Closely monitor responses and enforce schedules
  • Use experienced professionals for verification of incidents
  • Include all outside investigations, subrogations and recoveries within an agreed set claims management fee.
   

4.

Risk financing

 

Adequate risk financing gives you both control and peace of mind. RMP will:

  • Discuss all possibilities with a client's professional advisers
  • Devise a range of options based on specific circumstances
  • Advise on a flexible package of self insurance and purchased insurance together with aggregate protection

Ultimate financial liability for losses are determined at the outset and guaranteed by aggregate stop loss.

   

5.

Monitor, control and review

 

Information is the key to effective monitoring and information means control

  • Claims are handled by Gallagher Bassett's state-of-the art computer, Risx-Facs, an on-line, real time operational control and information system including claims analysis. claims registration and tracking
  • Comprehensive monthly report packages (hard copy or electronic exchange)
  • On-line claims progress monitoring and report generation
  • Effective management through mutual access to detailed information
